This set is amazing! It draws you in from every angle. It comes with a great selection of minifigs, and you can't help but add even more. Its fun to recreate scenes from A New Hope, and think of your own stories. There is loads of room in the hanger bay to include other ships, containers and figures. It is a robust and very well put together piece. It is easy to turn around but I would recommend placing it on a 'lazy Susan' (spinning plate) to make it even easier.

Very, very disappointing on LEGO’s part – and I’m not even the biggest LEGO Star Wars fan. This just made me go “meh”. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not opposed to re-releases, in fact, I welcome them when done for the right reasons such as to address scarcity issues – I loved 10249 Winter Toy Shop despite owning the original. I just feel that a set that has barely been retired for a year warranted such a quick re-release.

Review Lego 75159 Death Star
Death Star is a thoroughly impressive set on the whole, with enormous play value and a fantastic selection of detailed minifigures. I was incredibly excited to receive 10188 when I was younger and I can only imagine that this offering will prove similarly popular with new fans. However, the Lego Star Wars design team had an unprecedented opportunity to greatly improve upon an already fantastic set and this has not been exploited.

His set is the best of all time. It shows many different scenes from the Death Stars in episodes 4 through 6. I had to get a shelf that was 16" wide just because of the size and it is a great part of my room. It works as a great conversation starter too. I liked building all of it except when it came to the string parts where it was difficult. I think they could of shown it better in the manuel. Other than that I LOVE it!

Conclusion

The Lego Death Star is an impressive set, you get a high play and value set with a selection of detailed minifigures. The format is just right. It is fun to put together and shows multiple scenes from the Death Stars in episode 4. There is enough space inside for ships, containers and figures. The only drawback is that the set has not changed very much in terms of design. There was a great opportunity for the design team to further expand the design and improve it. Just a missed opportunity.
